Dr. Rachel Katz

Visual design informs my academic research interests into the affordances of digital media, and assists me in the public dissemination of research findings through reports, presentations, events, and zines. I also practice fine arts as a hobby.

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salford School of Health and Society working on health ramifications of digital media like dating apps. I earned my PhD in Sociology from the University of Manchester, my masters in gender studies from the University of Cambridge, and my BA from Columbia University.
